Lately, I've been dependent on my sleeping pills to make me sleep. I haven't been sleeping well these days and I don't know why. Perhaps, the arrival of my O-Level examination is here and I'm feeling pretty tense and nervous. Perhaps, I'm simply too stress up with lots of things going through my mind. Argh!~
Today is the start of my first paper. I was posted to Crescent Girls' School for my science practical. As I was in special condition, my shift is different from the rest of my school mates. I was in shift 2 while the rest were either in shift 3 or 4.
I woke up real early for today to prepare myself. Ms Yvonne gave me morning call to check if I'd already wake up. I seriously didn't expect my teacher to come down to be with me. I thought she would come much later as I was the only one in shift 2 and it's pretty early. She didn't have a good sleep as she fear that she'll miss my timing slot. So, she woke up in between from 5am. Awww... I'm just so touched. She prayed for me and talked to me so that I won't be so tense up. She also bought me a snack for later as I had to be quarantine till really long. Greatly appreciated! My mother said that she's a responsible teacher. I'm just so bless to have her as my teacher and my mentor. Indeed, a really nice and caring teacher.
Miraculously, my exam paper was so much different from the past few years' paper that I've done. It was way much easier. My physic experiment went really smooth. For the first time in my life, I did every question without leaving any blanks. My graph points were in constant acceleration and it was smooth too. As for the Chemistry part, I need not find the unknown metal or salt. I just have to read and follow instructions, record everything down I see. It's just so simple. However, I'm just so mad at myself. Argh!~ I had yellow precipitate while doing and yellow means it's Iodide. Besides, the hint was to test with Silver Nitrate. But, I mistook Silver Nitrate to Bromine Nitrate. Instead of writing Iodide for my conclusion, I wrote Sulphate. Argh!~ I also left out writing the insoluble or soluble precipitate that I've tested. Sigh. It's such a waste that a few marks is gone. Sob, sob, sob. I got to work really hard for my science paper as I suck in it. Okay, at least, I think it did fairly alright for my practical this year. But, I'm not gonna think that I did extremely great because instead of doing that great I might do badly. Oh well, it's all in the mind. Ahahas.
After I was release, my school teacher who teaches chemistry called me and I went over to her. She then asked what came out for chemistry. She, herself, was also quite stunned and surprised that the question would be that easy. Ms Yvonne also asked me about the physic section and the experiment was quite unusual. First time in my life, I had to use two retort stands. Lolx! She was really happy that pendulum came out as the day before the exam we did an experiment on pendulum. She then said, "Wow, Mr. Suryanto actually dreamt that pendulum would come out." Lolx! It's so funny. I never expect that a dream could come true. I then thanked her for teaching me how to place the "cork" with the retort-stand. If not, I would spend a long time figuring how to fix the experiment out. It was a pretty confusing set up but an easy experiment.
I wasn't supposed to be seen talking to anyone if not I could get into deep trouble. My school teacher said that I was release much earlier and my school mates haven't got in to do their exam yet. For fear that they would see me and ask about the question, I left after talking to my teachers.
After exam, I met my mother in town and we went shopping. We bought lots of Anna Sui products that we received two gift sets. Wow! I'm so in love with Anna Sui products. I'm an Anna Sui freak. Wahahax. Alright, got to start focusing and mug the rest of my subjects. I hope I'll do well this time as I really don't wish to repeat it again. To me, I don't expect getting A's or B's. Just a pass will do. I'll be contented.
