Today, I brought Kai Xin to Esplanade for lunch. I felt really bad that she bought me an expensive ticket to F.I.R's concert, so, I treated her for lunch. It was pretty a last minute decision of having lunch at Esplanade and it was a surprise for her. I hope she was touched. Ahahas. We went to this place called Honey Moon or something. I can't really recall the name of it but the food was awesome! We ate till so full that we felt like staying in our seats. Geez.
After lunch, we spent our time at Bugis Street. Kai Xin bought quite a lot of stuff. Later, we met Yi Fu and headed back to Esplanade again. I was so surprised to bump into Rachel, my dance mate and Miss Teo with her fiancé at the Esplanade. After saying our goodbyes, we went to an open space at the Esplanade and slack around. Then, later, we settled down at DXO for drinks. We ordered the Apple Tower and a basket of potato wages. As I was reading a magazine, a waiter came up to me and gave me a piece of paper. He said I inspired him, so, he drew a simple yet cute picture of me in DXO. I don't know why, but I had a slip of my hands and dropped the magazine. Oh my god! The situation is so awkward lah! Argh.
We drank till we were quite tipsy. I felt nothing initially. But, I nearly fell upon standing on the ground. It was pretty hard to get me balance. But, Kai Xin was there to hold me. So, yea... Everything was alright. While we were waiting for our turn to the washroom, an unexpected thing came. A man, who's around his mid 30 or something, gave me a rose! Lolx! We kept laughing in the washroom. I didn't know I've got such attraction. I thought, Kai Xin is the one who can attract guys. Wow! I didn't know I can do it too. Lolx!
After that, the waiter came to us again as Kai Xin asked for a cup of ice. Then, he asked for my number but not in a direct way. He said that he's busy right now and wish he could talk to us soon. But, we were leaving pretty soon too. Thus, he took his phone out and I press my number down for him. Ahahas. In the end, I left the big rose on the table due to the dizziness I had. I forgot to bring back home. Awww!
Initially, I wanted to meet Joe and travel back home with him, since he was working nearby. But, I thought, "Forget about it, I don't know what to say if I see him. Besides, I'm just too dizzy. I'll probably take a cab back home with Kai Xin."
How true it is, we took a cab back home as I was feeling tipsy and Kai Xin had vomited. Yi Fu said that just by looking at me, he can see that I'm a girl who yearn company. My life is pretty boring and I feel like breaking free from the boredom I'm having. True though. I always yearn to have a group of friends - Out in big groups, having fun together and stuff. Being open and having a huge circle of friends, not just Kai Xin alone.
I guess people drink to numb their pains, or being their real self. I felt that way too. I was in so much pain. I'm also feeling really stressful for my upcoming exam. Time flies! My preliminary examinations would start next week. And, soon, it would be O-level examination. I'm just so dead. I don't have the faith in staying firm and moving on. I've been putting a mask, telling myself that I'll be able to clear this last hurdle. But, will I ever? I seriously wonder... ... ...
